Automation and Updates

Operating standards for repetitive maintenance work and version management.

Reducing repetitive work

RemotePilot can help when the same action needs to be applied to multiple PCs. Operators choose target PCs and run prepared tasks, reducing site visits and manual repetition.

Examples

  • Check required programs or settings before a session starts.
  • Run maintenance work for a selected group of PCs.
  • Apply the same fix after an incident affects multiple machines.
  • Find PCs that are outside the operating standard and bring them back into compliance.

Update management

If site PCs stay on old versions, support gets harder and behavior may differ between machines. Use the Operator Console to check update status and keep managed PCs aligned with your standard.

Policies to define before rollout

  • Which tasks are approved for remote execution.
  • Whether user consent is required before a task runs.
  • Which tasks are allowed during class, business, or working hours.
  • Who owns update timing and follow-up.

Operating standard

Automation is powerful because it can affect many PCs at once. Start with a small test group, confirm the outcome, and then expand by site or operating group.
