Operator Console
The workspace operators use to monitor PCs, provide remote support, and run maintenance work.
Role
The Operator Console is the main workspace for the team using RemotePilot. It brings PCs from multiple rooms or sites into one list, then lets operators choose a machine and provide remote support, run approved maintenance work, manage power actions, or check update status.
What operators see
- PC list shows registered machines and current connection state.
- Recent connection time helps operators judge whether a machine is reachable.
- Remote support view lets the operator inspect a reported problem.
- Task execution applies prepared maintenance work to selected PCs.
- Update status helps keep managed PCs aligned with the organization standard.
Expected value
- Fewer situations require someone to physically visit the PC.
- Operators can understand site status faster from one view.
- Repetitive checks and fixes become standardized.
- The operating flow stays consistent even when staff changes.
Common usage
- Check that classroom PCs are online before a session starts.
- Open a reported PC remotely and inspect the screen.
- Run a maintenance task on selected machines and review the result.
- Identify PCs that need an update and handle them according to policy.
Operating standard
The Operator Console can directly affect site PCs, so remote control and power actions should follow your organization's operating policy. For high-impact actions, confirm the target PC before proceeding.
